Changing Instrument Console Warning Lamp
Carefully ease up the lugs on each of the wiring plug holders and slide them back to release them from the console. Leave the Printed Circuit Board (PCB) attached.

Remove the two instrument panel light bulbs at the top of the console. Turn them a ¼ turn either way and lift out.
Ease the PCB off the 4 small white lugs either side of the bulb holders and the 2 black lugs (not visible in this picture) which stick up between the resistors.
Remove the eight cross head screws (Philips No. 2 screwdriver) – 4 along the top and 4 along the bottom (some units may have hexagon head bolts (6mm). There is no need to remove any other nuts or bolts.

Hold the back of the rev counter and speedometer and ease the whole assembly up out of the console and turn it face up.

Carefully ease off the black cover over the warning LEDs – it is held on by 2 small white lugs.
The main beam warning lamp is a blue cover, which just lifts off, over a white LED.
Remove the LED you are changing and replace with similar, taking care to fit the legs correctly. One leg of the LED is offset.
Refit the black cover over the LEDs by pressing down firmly.
Providing you have left the console face down, ease the assembly back into place.
If you have turned it face up, then the cover and warning light symbols may have dropped out of place. If so, just replace them.
Refit the 8 cross head screws, ease the PCB back onto the various retaining lugs, refit the 2 instrument panel bulbs and slide the wiring plug holders back into place.
Job done.
