hi all, new to the forum, from central scotland. had a scirocco for a while when i was 18, recently decided to punt the mk3 gti and get another. not long picked up a nice 91 gt2 from sheffield, its not perfect and has a few of the common faults, saggy door and leaky boot lock etc. but pretty clean. its my daily drive and ive got a few plans for it. a good service and probably a set of budget coilovers to get it sitting nice is first on the list, need suspension anyway as i think a shock or two is gone at one side. its standard as they come atm apart from a weber carb and 8ball gear knob

hey all i've pretty much just today registered to the forum but here goes...

this is my scirocco gt2 i've owned it six months and when i baught the car it was nerly standard besides some silly fox racing alloys that didn't fit and a webber carb thats butchered...

never the less i didn't let this put me off and since buying her i've fitted coilovers and put a full car set of pollyeurothane bushes on her aswell as nerli stripped out interior and some reclining bucket seats and just recently baught some 13" mahle bbs's wich i think suit the car really well so here's a pic of her and what do you all think.?.

Hi I joined the forum a a while back as Ive been looking for a mk2 Scirocco for a bit now.
Anyways have finally got one so thought I would introduce myself and my Rocco

Its a gt2 just over 100000 on the clock, over all it is in pretty good nick





Well thats my car have a few plans, nothing to major I have some 8x15 powertech type D alloys to go on and will be purchasing some coilovers
as the standard suspension is way to wollowy (if thats how you spell it) then just a general tidy up and see what happens.

Small world, but this is a Scirocco site! I had always hoped that some one would recognise it. I bought it in Feb 2009 from a bloke in Kensington, London, spent quite a bit getting it to a good standard. How long did you have it?

heres mine in engine stages.
2ltr 8v

2ltr 16 (9a)

2ltr 16v abf on k-ket

2ltr 16v abf but with right handed manifold

Now all done and running again.
